You can tell me I'm wrong ... you can tell me your mate down the local pub thinks I'm wrong ... you can tell yourself my stuff doesn't work in your area ... but you CAN NOT tell me all nine of the guys above are wrong!

What's more, don't think my marketing is just a simple letter or flyer ... it's much more than that.  All the guys above have all grown their business using my marketing and tools. Plus we continue to find new ways to improve the return on marketing investment. 


Here's Some Facts About The Guys In The Videos Above You May Not Know...

You've all heard about Kevin Barber ... and his £26k a month with one van in Essex!  And Kevin has over £65,000 paid to him over the year BEFORE he does the work, as part of our 'Perfect Care Maintenance Plan'.      Well, now Kevin has taken on a second van this summer and his monthly turnover and profit are still growing!!  For people that say you can't do over £300,000 in Essex ... you're wrong!

Dasos Gonnella and his brother Nick, working together they have grown their business so they don't work everyday, and their average job ticket is over £850!!!   They are working in North West London where almost everyone else says there is too much price competition!

You heard from Chris Bailey, Phil Hall and Pierre de Wet.  These guys are still growing their business so they can run it while others clean for them. They all have multi-van businesses, they all run from business units ... and are all doing very well.

However,
not everyone understands what they these guys are doing!   For example last year I heard some people were knocking Pierre de Wet because he only turns over £20k a month and has five staff to feed!  They say there is no profit in that!  Well I'm sorry they've missed the point.  Pierre, like some of the others, doesn't want to be a carpet cleaner and push a wand all his life.   In just over four years he had grown his business to over £20k a month from nothing and is getting ready for him and his wife to step back and stop working everyday 'in the business' and start working a few hours a week 'on the business' so they make a nice profit while they do what they want to do.  In 2011 Pierre has asked me not to publish his figures ... and all I can say is his company is still growing very nicely.

Carpet Cleaning Millionaires!   Two people already 'living the life' are Martin Riley and Andy Sacker.    These guys don't work together, although they do have similar stories ... they both started out working in factories for a few pounds per hour, then they became window cleaners in their own areas because it was easy to get into ... but couldn't make good money.  Then both became carpet cleaners and struggled until they took on my marketing system.  Within a few years they used the additional income to invest in property and are now carpet cleaning millionaires!   Martin sold his business and builds new houses (keeping the odd one along the way) ... while Andy has a large portfolio of rental properties and is looking to sell his carpet cleaning business very soon.    

On the other hand ... not everyone want a big business.

As with the guys above if you're going to break the £72,000 VAT limit, don't just go over it - SMASH IT.     However its not all about hard work and making money.   If you you're happy meeting new people and cleaning their carpets yourself ... and can live on less than £70,000 a year why grow a business ... just turn it into a profitable business.  

For example Colin Wakefield doesn't work everyday and enjoys his time off.   What Colin has learnt from us is by having a high average job ticket he can work a few days a week and still make more money than most full-time cleaners.  This way he doesn't worry about staff and all the problems that can go along with that.

Finally, but not least Mark Pritchard.   Mark is a great guy ... he calls himself the 'Lazy Marketer', as he has never done all the marketing strategies he could be using.  In the past I've been frustrated by
Mark, as there are so many ways he could improve his business, but he doesn't want to.   However, it was Mark that finally taught me a lesson.  Mark is happy working on his own, he has five holidays a year with his family and books every Wednesday afternoon off to play golf.  Mark's business works in repeat and referral for the most part ... and when he needs some extra work he turns on the Google 'Pay Per Click' and brings in extra money.   He keeps below the VAT level (although his accountant has told him he needs to take more time off to keep under it) and he has a gross profit of over £60,000 a year.  I'm not sure about you ... but that sounds like a dream!   Mark will take home more (after tax) than a lot of cleaners gross turnover.      As Mark said in the video ... he learnt how to do it right with us from the beginning.       

So now I tell people you don't need to turn over £100,000+ a year to have a good business and a great lifestyle.  But which ever way you want to go ... we can help!

BUT Why Is This Marketing So Important To YOU?
Because You Need To Find People Willing To Pay
YOU £100+ Per Working Hour!


Time and time again I'm told people will not pay £100 per hour for carpet cleaning ... I Can Tell YOU They Will!  AND THEY ARE!

It's important to ask yourself... "Why I want to start my own carpet cleaning business?"   Well I'm sure it wasn't just so you can work longer hours and get paid less than before … did you?

I know I didn't ... I started my carpet cleaning business over twenty-two years ago, and I too almost made a massive mistake!  

At first, like many start-up's I see today, I was aiming to be 'cheap as chips' and ‘undercut’ all my competitors in my area and steal their work.   I thought this would be a great model to make me plenty of 'beer money' ... well I was in my early twenties.

Thankfully, I was shown this fatal flaw very early.  The guy I purchased my first carpet cleaning machine from, Lloyd Owens, was as passionate about helping people as I am and he explained the error of my plans. 

Lloyd owned a small carpet cleaning supply company called Ashcombe International (the company closed in late 1991), and when I went to see him for the first time he asked what my plans were.  I told him about my 'undercutting' idea and that's when he explained ... how most cleaners hardly make enough money to survive … and therefore if I undercut their price I’d simply starve.

Back over twenty years ago any cleaners were charging only £20-£30 a room to clean carpets, because that's what some of their competitors charge ... and what they would pay.

Lloyd told me the two reasons this is wrong...

  1. Most people don't understand there is a very real cost of running a business!  (They charge what they think they can as wages and not covering all their costs)  
  2. You are not your own customer (what you'd pay for cleaning has nothing to do with what other people would pay).

The lesson I learnt was to find the right people and they'd be happy to pay a higher price ... and I could do make good money within the normal working week.

It's still true today, people think that as they made around £10 per hour working in factory, then charging £20-£30 an hour would make them a profit.  This simply isn't so!

Over the years of dealing with hundreds of carpet cleaners we have found it costs about 20p a foot (£2 per metre) just to clean carpet ... which means the average lounge of 200 sq ft (20 sq m) would cost £40 to clean.  If you are charging about £40 a room you're not making any profit.

Another way to look at this... To make a personal income of around £25k-£30k per year (after all costs and tax) you will need to make a gross about £70,000.00

If you want to make £70,000 a year cleaning carpets are you charging enough?

For example if you say you took 4 weeks holiday (including 2 weeks over Christmas) and another two weeks for Bank Holidays etc... you'll be working 46 weeks a year.

If we said you worked 5 days a week, you'll need one day to carry out audits (about 20% of your working time) ... so that's only 4 days out cleaning.

On the average 8-9 hour day you'll be cleaning for between 3-5 hours. (approx half the time is spent driving, setting up and talking to the client)

This totals ... 46 weeks x 4 days = 184 working days.  184 days x 4 hours = 736 cleaning hours per year.

£70,000.00 divided by 736 cleaning hours =
£95.10 per cleaning hour


If you worked it out again like a lot of cleaners who charge about £30 per ... well, you can do the maths yourself ...

You charge £30 per and you worked 4 hours a day (£30 x 4 = £120)
You work six days a week (6 x £120 = £720)
You work for 48 weeks a year (48 x £720 = £34,560)
 you'll only make just under £35k a year ...
take off the costs, tax etc... and your only making about £10,000 a year - Plus You Have To Find MORE JOBS!


So if you're one of the guys who give a great service, but just
struggle with your Sales and Marketing to make more than £2-4 per metre and have average jobs of £60-£120 ... you'll never make the money you need!

And I can tell you it's not to do with the 'size of your machines' or which 'type of cleaning solutions' you use, it's down to your SALES & MARKETING!

And don’t start saying – “people in my area will not pay that” … because as I said before they will ... AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THEY ARE!!

You don’t need every house in your town to buy from you … just the ‘right people’ that are willing to spend the ‘right money’.
